Hi, I’m Dr Tarmala!
I’m the principal psychologist, wellbeing coach and the founder of The Wellbeing Psychologist. I have over 20 years of experience helping people overcome all sorts of challenges and setbacks.
I started my career as a police officer and when my first child was born, I decided to study to become a psychologist.
After years of serving in the public sector as a psychologist, I decided to start my own private practice to support people to overcome life challenges so they can truly thrive!
Here at The Wellbeing Psychologist, we use an individualised approach to suit your preferences, needs, and lifestyle.
Our motto is “Working together to find what works for you”.
Therapy aims to help you reduce psychological distress, increase your understanding and find solutions to your challenges so that you can get back to feeling okay.
Coaching is a proactive approach where you make choices about what you want, focus on what’s already working well, and find new ways to boost your wellbeing.
Workshops are a great way to learn more about a wellbeing topic and gain some practical take-home strategies in a friendly environment!
Upcoming Workshop: Yoga for Anxiety Relief (Starts 15/05/21)
“It’s your reaction to adversity, not adversity itself that determines how your life’s story will develop.”
